Description
A single red rose, just for you. I painted this for a lady who lost a granddaughter right before graduation from high school. She was killed by a drunken driver. This past Christmas day, her husband died. I don't know the lady, but I know her daughter. Her daughter, a nurse was drawing my blood and had a hard time and couldn't get it and was upset with herself. I asked her what was wrong, she said it was the anniversary of the day her daughter was killed by a drunk driver. I saw her a few months latter for more lab work and she told me about her dad passing away suddenly on Christmas day. I hope my painting I am giving her will bring her some joy.
